Bodzaszörp/ Elderflower syrup

Nagyon-nagyon vártam az év első szüretét! Gyönyörű bodzavirágokból készült az első adag szörp.

I have been waiting for the first harvest of the year so much! I made the first bottles of elderflower syrup from beautiful flowers.

Gyűrűtartó doboz/Ring bearer box

Ő a legutóbbi munkám. Nagyon szeretem a zsákvásznat és még jobban szeretem a zsákvászon-csipke kombót. Annyira az én világom a finomságával, eleganciájával és ugyanakkor egyszerűségével.
Kattintottam párat a dobozkáról, bevallom nem az aktív napjaimat élem. Ez az idő kiveszi belőlem a lelkesedést! Ilyenkor már rég kint kellene tennem-vennem, de csak vánszorgok idebent. Remélem jövő héten visszatér minden a normál kerékvágásba! Legyen csodaszép a vasárnapotok!

This is my latest work. I love burlap and I love the burlap and lace combo even more. It is so much my world with its fine elegance and simplicity at the same time. I took some photos of this little box, I have to admit that these are not my active days. This weather just kills all my enthusiasm... I am supposed to to do this and that outside, but all I'm doing is dragging myself inside from one place to another. I hope next week everything goes back to normal. Have a beautiful Sunday!

Nagy terveim a kamrával/ Big plans with my pantry

Nagyon régóta aktuális már a változtatás a kamrámban, de őszintén megmondom, hogy nem volt kedvem ebben az időben nekiállni. Illetve ez így nem igaz ebben a formában, mert még az ünnepek előtt megröptettem mindent, ami nem odavaló. Vettem egy-két új dologot is, tárolókat, ilyesmit, de a festés része még hátravan. Mert hogy le fogom festeni a polcomat a kamrában fehérre. Amúgy is lakás legsötétebb része, így nem fog ártani a világos szín. Abban is reménykedem, hogy a rajta lévő dolgaim szebben fognak mutatni.
De a lényeg, hogy megvan a gomb a kabáthoz! Hímeztem egy táblácskát, ami hirdetni fogja, hogy ez az én KAMRÁM! :)

It has long been planned to make some changes in my pantry, but we've had some terrible weather lately and I'm not in the mood to start the work. Actually, I started throwing out everything that was unnecessary before Easter. I bought some stuff too, but painting is still to be done, as I am going to paint my shelves white in my pantry. It is the darkest place in the house, so something light won't hurt. I also hope that my things on the white shelves will look nicer. But the most important thing is that I have the button for the coat! I embroidered a sign that will tell everyone: this is my PANTRY! :)

I decorated the sign with miniature wooden figures. I didn't make them! :)))

A mi húsvéti asztalunk/ Our Easter table

Idén a zöld szín dominál. Apósom herendi származású, így a családban nagyon sok a herendi majolika. Imádom őket, színesek, gyönyörűek, csupa vidámság és tavasz! Áldott húsvétot kívánok minden kedves olvasónak!

This year the dominant colour is green. My father-in-law is from Herend, home of the world famous handpainted village pottery, so we have a number of sets. I love them, they are colourful, beautiful, full of happiness and spring. I wish all of you a very happy Easter!

                       Sok kicsi, egyszemélyes kalácsot formáztam, így használatba vehettem a tortatálamat, amit     nagyon szeretek használni terítésnél. Főleg ünnepi alkalmakkor. 

Húsvéti készülődés/ Easter preparations

Nagyon közelít és a tennivalóim száma nem csökken, sőt! Tegnap volt a napja, hogy beszerezzek egy csomag hungarocel tojást, amelyeket már korábban megterveztem. Mivel nagyon szeretem a természetes alapanyagokat, nem volt kérdés, hogy jutazsineggel fogom körbetekerni őket és aztán jön majd a díszítés. A juta-csipke kombináció nagy kedvenc, így születtek meg ezek a prototípusok. Jut belőle ajándéknak és a mi kis tojásfánkra is. Egy pipa a listán!

It is coming and the number of things to do is not getting any less, in fact I have more and more on my list. Yesterday I bought a package of styrofoam eggs that I had plans with earlier. Since I love natural materials it was not a question that first I would wrap the eggs with jute twine and then decorate them. Jute and lace is a combination that I really love, so that's how the prototypes were born. I will make some as gifts and for our Easter egg tree as well. One tick on my list!

A szívek

Minden kétséget kizáróan tavasz van! Hurrá! Szinte simogatnak a napsugarak, jó kint lenni! Benedeket be sem tudom csalogatni, Julcsit viszont még nem sikerült kirobbantani a házból, csak elvétve... de megküzdünk a problémával legkésőbb holnap. Ugyanis gyerekzsúr lesz nálunk abból az alkalomból, hogy a mi kis drágáink ma 9 évesek. Nagyon zsúfolt hétvége elé nézünk, remélem jól fog sikerülni minden. Szóval kintire és bentire is tervezzük a holnapi partit, így a leányzó is kénytelen lesz a friss levegőn játszani kicsit. Addig is készült pár szív a szobájukba a tavasz üde színeivel. Mert szeretjük. Bárcsak éreznétek a kajszifánk virágának illatát! Csak piciket vágtam a kép kedvéért!

Spring has arrived, no doubt. Hurray! I can feel the sunbeams caressing me, it is so good to be outside! I can't lure Benedek back into the house, meanwhile Julcsi still doesn't want to go outside. But we will solve the problem by tomorrow at the latest as we are going to have our childrens' birthday party. They are 9 years old today. We are facing a very busy weekend and I truly hope everything will go just perfect. We are planning tomorrow's party to be outdoor and indoor as well, so our little girl will have no other option but to play a little outside too. But until then, I have made a few hearts to their room with some nice shades of the colours of spring. Because we love it! I wish you could also feel the the scent of the flowers of our apricot tree. I have only cut a small branch for the sake of the picture.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Már egy ideje dolgoztam ezen a kis dobozon az "elsők" számára. Az első cipőcskéje, az első fogacska, az első sapi, karszalag került volna bele. De rájöttem, hogy ő ezt most még annyira nem tudta volna értékelni és inkább húsvéti ajándék lesz belőle a kis kincseinek. Mert kincsesládikó az kell. Nincs mese. Remélem örülni fog neki, Beni doboza még tervezés alatt, ő ásványokat gyűjt, ahhoz kell majd valamilyen minta. Remélem megbirkózom a feladattal. 

I have been working on this little box for all the "firsts". For the first pair of shoes, for the first tooth, the first hat and the bracelet were to go in it. But then I realized, she would not appreciate it at this stage of her life, so I decided to give it to her as an Easter gift for her small treasures. Because you need a treasury chest, no doubt.  I hope it will make her happy. Beni's box is still in the stage of design, he is collecting minerals, so I need to find a good pattern for it. Hope I will manage to complete this mission.
